One of the most important things to know about your Guinea Pig is it's sex especially if you decide to breed them.

Genitalia of male and female of cavies are very similar at first sight. To find out gently press on each side of the genital openings and if it's a male the penis can be extruded.

Apply gentle pressure to the male Guinea Pig to show it's extruded penis.
